Taba Logistics Zone

To develop the capacity for arrival and departure of goods from the Gulf and Asia in order to transport to the Eastern Mediterranean. It spans 80 feddans

Description

The Taba logistics area is not classified as a dry port although it serves as a major land port and transit point for the eastern border. Teh development includes the upgrading of operational capacity of arrival and departure halls, installing integrated monitoring, civil defense and firefighting systems, as well as expanding commercial activities. Development of the Taba logistics zone is part of the exapnsion of zone capacities along the corridors. This is currently being offered to private investors as a project to participate in as part of a consortium with the state. It is adjacent to the new Taba seaport.
