Vung Ang 1 Coal-Fired Power Plant

Description

Construction of a 1,200 MW coal-fired power plant with two 600 MW units in the Vung Ang Economic Zone. PetroVietnam developed the plant, Vietnam Machinery Erection Corporation delivered the EPC works, and the project drew on a Chinese-led syndicated buyer's credit alongside Japanese and international bank financing.
