This corridor is a mixed export and agricultural logistics route, connecting the Nile Delta’s manufacturing and agricultural centers with Damietta Port, and supporting new city and industrial development (EIB, 2024).
Geography
The Tanta–Mansoura–Damietta Logistic Corridor runs through the heart of the Nile Delta, connecting Tanta, El Mansoura, and Damietta via a dedicated railway line. The total corridor length is approximately 119 kilometers, directly linking agricultural and industrial production zones to Damietta Port and the New Damietta dry port
