History

Developed by the Industrial Development Group (IDG), e² Alamein was officially launched in July 2020 as Egypt's first eco-sustainable industrial park built in accordance with international frameworks for Sustainable Industrial Areas. Spanning 2.7 square kilometers within the fourth-generation mega-project of New Alamein City, the zone builds upon IDG's legacy of pioneering smart industrial parks, following their successful deployment of e² October in 2008 and the East Port Said Industrial Zone in 2019.
